Yes, Discord, which is now known as a communication platform that is widely used by gamers, has presented a new feature called Stage Channels with a concept similar to Clubhouse. In this Stage Channels feature, users can join a chat room and listen to conversations from speakers in that room. The participants will also be able to provide their opinions regarding the talks that are being held. Actually, this feature is not much different from the existing audio chat rooms on Discord. But in this feature, all of these things can be done in a structured manner so that everyone is given the opportunity to speak. “The Stage Channel is very useful when you run an event on the server where each member will talk about something discussed, or just for casual purposes such as karaoke,” said Discord when explaining this Stage Channel feature. Needless to say, the presence of the Stage Channel makes Clubhouse even more competitive. On the other hand, Twitter has officially introduced a similar feature in its services called Spaces, so it is likely that many people will move from Clubhouse to the new service.
